Nail Art This Bloody Should Be a Crime
Wednesday, October 05, 2022nail a college drop outIt's finally Spooky Bitch Season and that means it's time for some fun & festive Spooky Bitch Nails.
I actually did this design last year, but my nails were short and I wasn't actively blogging. So obviously I had to recreate them.
How does the adage go? If it didn't happen on the Internet, then it did it happen at all. Right? Right.
What Did I Use?
- Base color: two coats of a VHTF gem. An original formula OPI Bubble Bath--the girls that get it, get it.
- Bloody hand prints: Sally Hansen Insta-dri The Un-Red & What's Up Nails Bloody Hands stencils
- Cha Cha Covers Crime Scene Tape decals
- Quick dry top coat
- Illamasqua Boudicca on my Cindy Hand (not photographed)

How I Wore It: Zoya Cafe Creams
Monday, September 19, 2022nail a college drop outFall is here! If it wasn't official before, it is now. Summer may be over but my obvious love for neons isn't going anywhere. Well, today they are because I've got a How I Wore It and a review of select shades from Zoya's Cafe Creams collection for Fall 2022.
Cafe Creams is a 6-piece collection that consists of five richly pigmented crèmes & one glitter topper.
I have some fun nail art planned for the noticeably absent Biscuit and Ophelia. Which is why you don't see them in today's post.
- Thumb & Index: Kahula under two coats of Bonnie
- Middle: Remington under two coats of Bonnie
- Ring & Pinky: Constance under two coats of Bonnie
Each of the three crèmes have the same smooth formula that reach full opacity in two coats.
Bonnie is the glitter topper of the bunch and is described as a "sheer and luminous" rose gold glitter. It's a fun topper for sure and I would love a gold shard glitter topper like this. *nudges Zoya*
The entire Cafe Creams collection is Big 10-free and available now on Zoya.com. Catch the full press release HERE.
Are you ready for fall? Or are you still gonna wear your fav summer shades all year long? Let's chat in the comments.

Press SampleBig Plant Mom Energy Nail Art
Monday, September 12, 2022nail a college drop outI guess I'll get today's post started by announcing that I'm a Plant Mom now! I also have zero green thumbs, so it's been interesting to say the least. There have been many a close call and one fatality. RIP Pointy the Poinsettia. You were the biggest drama queen in the house, but I loved you all the same.
Eulogies aside, let's get into my plant inspired nail art.
- I started with two coats of Enchanted Polish The 90's and applied a layer of quick dry top coat.
- When my nails were dry enough, I placed a What's Up Nails Tropical Plant vinyl on each nail.
- Next, I performed a gradient using Absolute One Shot Neon Pearl Pink and Wet n Wild Black Créme.
- Once I reaching my desired gradient opacity, I removed the vinyls and applied top coat.
Zoya Pink Palette Fluid Marble Nail Art
Monday, September 05, 2022nail a college drop outI've been having a moment with marbles of all kinds. Fluid marbles, marble drags, and smoosh marbles. So today you're getting a fluid marble featuring the Zoya Pink Palette collection.
So how did I do it? I did a fluid marble using Joanie, Maddy, Shannon, Kay, and Gigi. Once I used all the cremes, I applied a layer of this collection's special topper, Angel.
Zoya Pink Palette is definitely a collection for the pink gworls💮.

Press SampleZoya Metallic Dreams Smooshed Marble
Monday, August 29, 2022nail a college drop outTo say it's been awhile would be an understatement. And if I had a dollar for every time I used that line after a hiatus, I'd be rich have more dollars than I currently do.
As the title suggests, I've got a smooshed marble featuring Zoya's entire Metallic Dreams trio
This four-step mani took less time than it did to edit the content required for this blog post. Yup, it was that easy.
Step 1: Lay down two coats of Matilda as a base color.Step 2: Apply some blobs of Matilda, Moki, and Amara on a nail art mat (plastic wrap or ziplock bag is fine).Step 3: Smoosh polish blobs with a stamper and roll the stamper on the nails. (Repeat steps 2-3 until desired result is achieved.)Step 4: Apply top coat.

Are you feeling metallics for fall? Let's chat in the comments.
Tune in. Drop out. Love polish.
