Nothing To Disclose

I guess I'll get today's post started by announcing that I'm a Plant Mom now! I also have zero green thumbs, so it's been interesting to say the least. There have been many a close call and one fatality.  RIP Pointy the Poinsettia. You were the biggest drama queen in the house, but I loved you all the same.

Eulogies aside, let's get into my plant inspired nail art.

These were pretty fun to do and relatively low on the complexity scale. Trust me. This is handy information if you need to create some bomb ass nails but lack the mental or physical energy after being in the office all day.
  1. I started with two coats of Enchanted Polish The 90's and applied a layer of quick dry top coat.
  2. When my nails were dry enough, I placed a What's Up Nails Tropical Plant vinyl on each nail.
  3. Next, I performed a gradient using Absolute One Shot Neon Pearl Pink and Wet n Wild Black Créme.
  4. Once I reaching my desired gradient opacity, I removed the vinyls and applied top coat.

Is now an opportune time to say that my only tropical child is an aloe plant I named after Miguel

Anyway. Let me know if you've tried a plant-inspired manicure before. Or tell me the names of your plant kids in the comments.
Tune in. Drop out. Love polish.
