So here we are. Once again, back with the Color Club round-up.  In all honesty, I have no idea why Color Club never has any press releases. Which probably explains why I never know when they actually have anything new. Anyway, I found myself looking at Color Club's website the other day and thought I'd do another round-up like last year.

In The Mood is a 12-piece set with color changing lacquers that--you guessed--shift according to your body heat.

"Whether you are all fired up, or feeling calm and cool, each Mood Nail Lacquer from the Color Club In The Mood Pastels Collection transforms with hot and cold temperatures for a stunning gradient effect."

Pop Play is a 12-piece collection in which every lacquer has a matte finish
"Celebration of fun, cheeky color in a unique matte finish. Bright and bubbly, each expertly designed color is a playful way to brighten your day."

So Lit
"Celebrate the finer things in life, like rest, relaxation, and of course a little reggae. Mellow out and unwind as the lush, vibrant colors transport you to a Caribbean paradise where the breeze is warm and the water is crystal blue."

Nailmoji
Yup, another addition to the Nailmoji theme. This time around instead of just a 7-piece set like the neon and holographic Nailmoji collections, this is a 12-piece.

Coated
"Color Club Coated One Coat nail lacquer features superior results with a high performance ergonomically designed brush specifically contoured to the shape of the nail bed."

KBShimmer put out more than just neons this summer. Aside from that, they also came out with six multi-chrome polishes.

Are you ready for this color shift?

Puns And Roses
Puns And Roses "is a soft shade that starts by showing off a rosy pink color.  As your viewing angle shifts, warm yellow gold and green hues pop through, with a hint of deeper green at the edges." Careful with this one. There were a few shades that I had some issues with brush strokes and this is one of them.
Shown above in three coats.

Chroma Chameleon
Chroma Chameleon "is a vibrant shifting shade that morphs from a bright fuchsia pink to a coppery rose, then a soft gold, to a spring green color when you change viewing angles." Again, the same issue with brush stroke and some dragging (this happens with and without a base coat) if you're not careful.

It's A Blazing

It's A Blazing this one, in particular, reminds me of metallic molten lava. You know, if that was actually a thing. Brush strokes and leveling were a pretty big issue with this one,  but not that big of a deal for this to deter you from getting this lacquer if you really like it. When was the last time a non-polish enthusiast ever pointed that out in your manicure? Never. Exactly.

Wine Not? This and Flip Flop Hooray were my favorite my favorites of the collection. I also really want a glass of wine (or three) right about now.

Iridescent Exposure
Iridescent Exposure "is a complex color shifting shade that starts with a dusty teal color. From the dusty teal, we see shades of cyan and blue, cool purples and rich magenta reds." The formula on the "cooler" shades is much smoother and I didn't have any issues with dragging like I did with the first three lacquers in this post.

Flip Flop Hooray
Flip Flop Hooray  "this shifty shade starts with a rich emerald green, which morphs into shades of teal and navy, finally flipping to a warm grape purple with hints of magenta and red." As I mentioned earlier that this shade is one of my favorites. Can you see why? *swoon*

It. Is. Summer! You know what that means? It's officially seasonally acceptable to wear neon nail polish. Not that it's ever stopped me before, but, you know. So what's on the menu today? KBShimmer's All The Bright Moves.

As the title of today's post suggests, I've got nail art, swatch, and review. But before I start talking about this collection, I need to tell you that these are fully opaque WITHOUT a white base.
Get into it.

All The Bright Moves
All The Bright Moves a highlighter yellow of all highlighter yellows. This was the only shade of the collection that had some issue formula wise, but in all honesty that is to be expected from any yellow nail polish. It is kinda streaky at three coats but levels perfectly after a layer of top coat.

Please Don't Glow Girl
Please Don't Glow Girl This Nickelodeon orange is shown above in three coats.

Color Me Rad
Color Me Rad a direct quote from KBShimmer describes this shade as, "a shockingly bright watermelon color, a neon red with warm pink undertones." That description is honestly the best way to describe it.

Let's Be Frank

Let's Be Frank this Lisa Frank inspired purple is my favorite. Why? Well it's purple. End of story.
Fun fact: I've actually never owned any Lisa Frank school supplies growing up. *sad emoji*

Double Pog Dare You
Double Pog Dare You is the sky blue neon crème of your dreams. Yes, you need this.

Race Against Slime
Race Against Slime this neon green colorway makes me feel like I'm waiting for Britney Spears to get slimed at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. Ah, nostalgia. Yeah, I know this collection is inspired by the 80s but I'm a 90s baby.

Overall the formula on these was incredibly smooth to apply, not to easy to water marble with, but I'm pretty bad at water marbling anyway. The most impressive part is that NONE of these required a white base coat, which isn't just kinda a big deal. It. Is. A. Huge. Deal.

I own and have reviewed tons of neon nail polish over the last six years so when it comes to this I know what I'm talking about. If you love neon polish the way I do, you need this collection.

What's on today's menu? Part two of the KBShimmer Nauti By Nature collection.

Let's get into the second part of this collection and start with Starfishing For Compliments.

Starfishing For Compliments
Starfishing For Compliments is described by KBShimmer as a  soft taupe crelly with white, black, coral, and aqua glitters. Two to three coats are recommended, however, I recommend three if being worn on its own and two if being layered over an opaque gray crème.
Also, yay for star glitter!

Tempting Fête
Tempting Fête is full of purple, gold, pink, and orange glitters suspended throughout a white milky base.
Shown above in three coats.

Saved By The Shell

Saved By The Shell admittedly this pink shade with copper shimmer isn't generally my taste (Y'all know I live for neon) but that aside, it's actually a decent color with a nice formula.
Shown above in two coats.

Water Sassy multicolored pastel hex glitters suspended in a pale aqua blue base.
Shown above in three coats.

Got It Sandaled
Got It Sandaled is the very pigmented lavender counterpart to Saved By The Shell.
Shown above in two coats.

Show Me The Mahi
Show Me The Mahi a navy jelly with iridescent glitters throughout. In real, under regular lighting, it's much darker and there is little to no visible nail line.
