Late Night Special

A few nights ago I was up way way way past my bedtime, deciding on exactly what I wanted to do with my nails. The hours ticked by and the land of sleep was calling out my name like it's towns people were crying out for their long lost queen. I wanted something simple yet fantastic. Something awesome yet nowhere near time consuming. Not to mention I wanted to play with some of the nail art goodies I purchased on EBay.

...And here we are now.

 

What kind of sorcery did it take to pull off this look?

I started with a base of OPI Boyfriend Scales Walls (not photographed).

Used a cosmetic wedge to sponge on Essie No More Film, Orly Shockwave, and Savina Marine Life.

On the thumb and ring finger I dabbed on China Glaze Blond Bombshell, and then topped them with a triangle metal stud (not photographed).

 Awkward hand pose for the win!

I guess staying up late to paint my nails wasn't such a bad idea after all!
