Nothing To Disclose
This afternoon I was laying around in bed watching documentaries on Netflix when it hit me. My little baby blog turns 3 today! With all of the crazy life stuff I've got going on right now I completely forgot and have nothing planned. Until I went thru my blog's archives (very cringe worthy if your up for the challenge) I decided I should recreate the very first nail art entry to Nail a College Drop Out!

I wanted to do something else for today's mani but that can wait I suppose. Neon flowers are more fun right? Right.

From thumb to pinky I used Icing Grande Margarita, China Glaze In The Lime Light, Dare To Wear Teddy,  Color Club Psychedelic Scene, and China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy.

Then I stamped with Wet n Wild Wild Shine Black Créme and Bundle Monster plate BM-225.

My little nail polish corner of the internet has been here for three years! Thanks for sticking around this long!! As always continue to...
Tune in. Drop out. Love polish.
Nothing To Disclose

Press Sample For some reason I'm starting to have this thing for floral print everything and my nails are far from exempt. Needless to say I've been eyeing this Mr. Candiipants tutorial for quite some time now and finally sat down to actually do it.

I used the entire SpaRitual Meditate Collection for these floral print nails.

Front to back: Transcend, Peace & Harmony, Introspective, Energy, Quietness, and Calm & Clear.

Instead of doing one color for the base I did a gradient with Peace & Harmony and Transcend. The flowers petals are done in Calm & Clear and Quietness. The dots are Calm & Clear and Energy. And last, but not least, I busted out my handy dandy stripping brush to use Introspective and Energy to paint the leaves.

While you're here look at my thumb!

The spring 2013 Meditate collection retails for $10.00 each at select spa and retails locations throughout the country, including online at Pharamaca.com, and Beauty.com.

Not to long ago I purchased these floral print jeans. I felt inspired! I searched my stash for the perfect colors. I sat down. I painted my base color (Illamasqua Phallic by the way) and then everything went left.

My mani isn't entirely a fail but it isn't what I envisioned it to be.

Since it's a quarter to 3in the morning while I'm typing this; I don't have any product porn for you, but if your inquisitive in nature like me, please read on.

Base: Illamasqua Phallic purchased by Mr. Nail A College Drop Out ;)
Orange flower:  a mixture of Barielle Peach Popsicle and Dare To Wear Hotspot
Pink flower: Barielle Pink Flip Flops and New York Color Fuchsia Shock Creme
Blue flower: Barielle Ocean Breeze and L.A. Colors Atomic
Leaves: Essie Mojito Madness. Zoya Shawn, and Barielle Green Apple Chew

Here's an A for effort!
Tune in. Drop Out. Love polish.

What? Two Swagger Jackin' posts in one week? Whose up today? Chelsea King and her Doc Marten mani. You know, that floral print manicure to end all floral print manicures. You damn right I'm feeling her nail steelo!

I recently bought a TON, okay 26, rolls of nail art foil from dollarnailart.com and one of my fast favorites was English Rose.
 *This and all other nail art foils available at dollarnailart.com are approximately 1 inch wide and 5 feet long.

Before I applied the foil I painted my nails with Sally Hansen Inst-Dri Whirlwind White. It claims to be a one coat polish and to dry really fast. While it does live up to the "Insta-Dri" part it was definitely a two coat-er for me.

After the polish dries you apply one layer of nail foil adhesive.  Wait 3 - 5 minutes for it to dry (it will still be tacky, but that's a good thing).

Carefully place the foil on the nail (shiny side up) and gently rub until the acetate backing starts to peel off on it's own. And then... *insert drum roll here*

Bam! Kick ass nails just like that! Apply one layer of clear top coat that IS NOT quick drying i.e. Seche Vite, let dry, then apply any no chip top coat of choice.

Enjoy my darlings! Love, Peace, and Polish!

Neons = Summer
Summer = Awesome

Thus, Neons = Awesome

I have an endless love affair with neons and I can never wear just one. So, I'm going to stop typing and show you the pictures.
