Top 5 of 2015

Nothing To Disclose
Ah yes, 2015. The year I re-enrolled in college, pulled teeth to get my blog re-designed, attempted to find a work/life/school/blog balance (still working at that by the way), and somewhere in there I managed to squeeze in some nail art.

Before I unleash the bomb nail art I have planned for 2016, let's revisit my top five favorites of the year 2015.

5. Do It For the 'Gram

I don't even think I can count how many times I've declared that IG is my favorite social media platform, be it in real life or on this blog, so it was only a matter of time before I tatted it and made it real commemorated my affection via my artful nail beds.

4. When Nails Imitate Art: Lakwena Maciver

So I wasn't too pleased with the end result because I discovered my lettering capabilities need a ton of work. But, I have to gave an A for effort, besides, Lakwena herself commented that she loved them.

3. Briana's 1st Scaled Gradient

Oh, my first scaled gradient! Nothing like my first time at anything to make my feel all wistful and such. I'd seen the technique (on Insta no less) and  new I had to try it eventually. So, I bought some nail vinyls, picked my two signature colors, and got to work.

2. Zoya Island Fun Nail Art

Y'all know I'm a sucker for crèmes with good formulas and bright colors. So, me falling in love with the Island Fun collection and deeming it my favorite collection of 2015 should come at no surprise.

Demetria | Nana | Serenity
Of course another When Nails Imitate Art made it's way onto my countdown. And this one made it to the number one spot!
There's something about this one that I can't quite but in words that I really enjoyed painting.

Besides, I did a damn good job on this one. *humble brags*

Now that this quick year in review is out of the way, stick around as I enter my fifth year as a nail blogger. I've some crazy dope stuff to show you, I promise.

Thank you for sticking with me this long!
Tune in. Drop out. Love polish.
