Pure Ice Review

Pure Ice New Year New Hue (Partial) Swatch & Review

Press Sample Alrighty my fellow polish lovers, today I've got a partial swatch and review from Pure Ice's latest collection, New Year New Hue.

Flawless | Poppin Bottles | Rosy Glow
Frost Finish Matte Top Coat | Blue Hue | Purple Haze

The total collection has 8 shades but today I have the six shades pictured above.

I've done a few How I Wore It posts just using 3 shades in a mani, so it seemed right to do the same with Rosy Glow, Blue Hue, and Purple Haze.

The idea behind these shades is simple, sheer tinted nail polish w/ iridescent glitter.

Rosy Glow is shown at two coats, while Blue Hue and Purple Haze are three coats. And because I felt compelled to not wear a shiny mani, I topped this off with a layer of Pure Ice Frost Finish Matte Top Coat.

This second mani is Pure Ice Flawless topped with Pure Ice Poppin Bottles on my thumb, ring, and pinky fingers.

Flawless reaches the opacity shown in 3 smooth coats, while Poppin Bottles is a topper that reaches the amount of coverage shown in 2 coats.

They shades shown in today's post, a long with every other Pure Ice nail polish, retails for $1.97 each and are available nationwide at Walmart.

See the full press release that includes the shades I don't have click here.

On a side note, I recent broke my nail with less than a month left until spring break. Excuse me while I cry in a corner. *sobs*
Tune in. Drop out. Love polish.
