If you follow me on Instagram (@DropOut_Nails by the way) you've gotten a sneak peek to some of the products I'm using for today's post. What you didn't see is the actual nail art, until now!

The idea for this manicure started with some little glitter sheets I received from Born Pretty.

I started with a base of--the now discontinued--Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Whirlwind White and let that dry.

Next, I laid down some stripping tape and made a gradient using Sinful Colors Snow Me White and a mixture of Dazzle Dry Rapid Red and Wet n Wild Fast Dry Everybody Loves Redmond.

Finally, after applying a top coat I applied the glitter that looks a whole lot like Mickey Mouse (or the covalent bond of H2O, your call). I had a little difficulty with getting the glitter to lay flat with just top coat, but after I used a little nail glue the problem was quickly solved.

And here's the finished product one more time.
