Black China Glaze

Icing Golden Touch

Thursday, July 14, 2011nail a college drop out

I bought this bottle around the beginning of June and couldn't bring myself to wear it--you know, it being summer and all. It's a black nail polish with ( brace yourself) GOLD GLITTER!!!!!!!!!

Full opacity can be reached with two coats, but I prefer three for more golden glittery goodness.
*notice my futile attempts at "the gap"

The black nail polish is a tad on the matte side and the glitter makes it look somewhat bumpy. To solve this use a layer of top coat. I used China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat. It helps it dry faster and shines like glass.

  1. Icing makes some pretty polishes. Not so bad with the gap. It takes practice, and I am still learning too, even with the help of a few YouTube videos.

  2. I stopped in Icing one day on a whim and decided to buy 2 of them since they were buy 1 get 1 half off (I heard they've always been that way, but I'm not sure) and now I go every payday.
