When Nails Imitate Art: Sue Tsai

Monday, June 09, 2014nail a college drop out

Nothing To Disclose It's Monday and I have another installment of When Nails Imitate Art! If you're always on IG like I am,  you've probably seen tons of nail art inspired by Sue Tsai and loved it. So I thought I'd try to finally execute a mani based on a piece of her work as well.

I knew the very moment I saw Fxck Love I had to recreate it in some form on my nail beds and last week after kickboxing class it finally happened!

I used quite a few different lacquers to bring this look to life.

I mixed China Glaze Dessert Sun and Illamasqua Load for the base color, Barielle First Class Ticket and Illamasqua Cameo for the heart, NCLA I'm With The Band for the lips, Orly Instant Artist Crisp White for the whites of the eye and the lettering, Zoya Tilda for the eye color, and Wet n Wild Wild Shine Black Créme for, well, everything that was done in black on this mani.

This took me about three hours to complete but I have to say that I love the way it turned out!

Quick side note. I officially re-enrolled in college today!!!!!!

What do you think of this installment of When Nails Imitate Art?
Tune in. Drop out. Love polish.
